What scouting means here

The current Roblox description explicitly describes scouting specific Umas and using their unique skills. It also says every trainee and item is obtainable without paying real-world currency or depending on luck. That supports planning for a chosen trainee. It does not tell us the current scouting interface, individual prices, unlock requirements, or whether a particular option is immediately available to every player.

Choose a target in five steps

Use this suggested comparison process with information displayed in your session. Record the candidate and its role in the squad planner, and keep detailed skill observations in your own notes.

1. Identify one weakness from a recent run: insufficient damage against a tough enemy, difficulty with groups, or a skill your team lacks.
2. Inspect the scouting options the game actually makes available to you. Read each candidate's skill and any displayed access requirements.
3. Record the target's stated cost and prerequisites. Keep different resource types separate.
4. Compare the candidate with an upgrade or item for a trainee you already use. Ask which option reaches the next objective sooner.
5. Before confirming, reread the in-game transaction summary and verify that the selected trainee and cost match your plan.

Compare usefulness, not just one number

A larger displayed damage value does not by itself establish a better scout. Attack interval, the number of targets affected, skill conditions, and acquisition cost can change the result. Our manual comparison tools can help organize numbers you supply, but a basic damage-per-second calculation cannot reproduce an entire match. Keep conditional skills in your notes and check their exact wording before assuming they are always active.

When a target is unavailable

Look for a requirement or explanation on that option in the game. If it names a prerequisite, make that your next task. If it provides no explanation, check the current Roblox description or creator community for an announcement. Do not spend resources on a guessed workaround. You can continue improving an available trainee while leaving the scouting target in your plan. We have not performed an in-game scouting test; this guide supplies a decision process, not a claim about hidden unlock rules.
